I've convinced lilie_charlotte to watch Inception with me in IMAX next week, which will be her first viewing and my third. Oh man, I'm going to end up being one of those people who watch Inception a bajillion times before the DVD even comes out. /o\

Also, I said to cantarina1 earlier, "when i start drawing fanart [for Inception], then i'll know i'm doomed."

Also, I think it's time for a semi-hiatus. That Damned Project (Proposal) is due at the end of August and I get a panicky fit every time someone reminds me of the date. I've researched for and written up a proposal within two weeks last semester, so I should be able to do this without going completely nuts, especially since I have most of the research done already. I might post random tablet!doodles as a stress-relief, and I'll definitely skim the flist (because I can't bring myself to stay off LJ), but I probably won't be commenting much. I'm also going to try to cut down the fic-reading, but we'll see how that goes. ;;;

I have a feeling the "cutting down on fic reading" thing isn't actually going to happen. XD;; Inception fic tends to be on the short side, which deceives me into thinking that I am saving time by reading them instead of epic-length J2 or Wincest. But the problem is, I tend to read five or ten one-shots in one go, which...doesn't save time at all. D: *fails*

You should see it! :D But watch out for the fandom, it warps your brain -- I went from, "Yeah, it was a decent movie -- cool concept, couple of logic!fails, and I don't really ship anyone" to "OMG I NEED TO SEE IT AGAIN AND MOAR ARTHUR/EAMES FIC NAO PLZ." Idek. D:

One person on my flist has been reccing a lot of Inception fics and I have been tempted few times to give them a go, but just like you, I can't deal with another fandom anymore. I already have two of them and that's enough for now (and I don't even participate creatively, I just enjoy all the stuff other people do :D). Also, even though I did enjoy the whole Arthur/Eemes interaction and I could right away, while watching the movie, tell why people had been all crazy over it, one movie still isn't enough to be totally convinced and crazy about them x)

Oh, trust me. I used to be so ridiculous with fandom, so scared to venture from one to multiple ones. It's all about shifting your devotions and balancing them out. Giving each fandom some TLC when needed. I'm now part of Harry Potter, Supernatural, Merlin and most recently, Sherlock. It totally takes time to get used to, but perhaps you can love SPN/J2 AND Inception at the same time!

Also, chibi!Eames is kind of adorable. If you make the rest of them, i will love you forever. I've also seen some pretty good Inception fanart, so it wouldn't be too bad to get into. Just saying.

That said, good luck with everything!

For some reason, I can only ever get completely involved with one fandom at a time -- as soon as something new comes along, my interest in the previous fandom drops dramatically. I remember back when I was totally devoted to the Harry Potter fandom (I was in it for about three years or so, iirc), but then I spent one month away from the internet and the next thing I knew, I'd picked up a new fandom and completely fell out of love with HP. D: I need to figure out how to achieve a balance! It seems more fun to be multifannish. :>
