Is it just me or has LJ been loading veeery, veeery slow?

I went picnicking with a friend (A.) on Friday and this little boy joined us in playing Frisbee and he scraped his leg a bit while clambering up a wall to fetch the Frisbee despite our help, so A. asked him, concerned, "Do you still like us?"

And the little boy, who couldn't have been more than eight or nine, looks at A. and says, "Only as a friend, right?"

I had no idea children at that age could differentiate between "liking as a friend" vs. "liking as in liking". XD
And of course, because I am an awesome friend, I had to rib A. about being rejected by an eight-year-old, all the way back to the parking lot.

Because I am in epic procrastination mode, I kind of want to flesh this out into a fic (and Jensen would totally have a violin hickey).
I'm certain this insanity will pass.

I have thought up of a few possible scenes...! If I can think up an ending, I may very well attempt to write this. :3 Will pester you for beta if I do manage to put something together! \o\

I'm going to finish the rough edits of Ecstasy tonight; I want to get this thing finished and posted by the end of the week \o/

I know of a livefeed, so we could totally watch 5x17 on Thursday, if we're both free and able. Note that I go on call for the weekend on Friday, but we've handled that before.

I will attempt to give it a shot? \o\ I haven't written anything remotely fic-ish for five years -- this may be a bit of a challenge, heh.

I played for about nine years, but stopped once I was in university. Is my violin bias that obvious? ;D

I support that bias! I used to play violin too, years ago, though I would be too embarrassed to pick it up again now.

But Jensen as a violinist is absolutely adorable! :)

Oh, awesome! :D Did you play in an orchestra or ensemble? I used to play in a chamber ensemble and it stressed me out like mad. XD
