fishpatrol1. I saw trailers belonging to the director/producers/actors/stunts people for Warehouse 13 today, on my way to the library. I admit that I would be much more curious about where they were filming if Joe Flanigan was a regular cast member. ;)
2. Canadian-flisters: do you guys have any recommendations for no-fee credit cards? My current one is going to be replaced by a different one (with a worse reward system) in a couple of months and I'm thinking of switching banks.
3. One of my housemates has convinced me that I absolutely need to go traveling during the summer of my first year. China doesn't seem to be likely this year (maybe next year), so I'm considering Europe, maybe one of those student tours or something. What do you guys think? I am very inexperienced in the way of traveling, especially on my own, so I have no idea where to start, even.

Date: 2010-03-20 04:13 am (UTC)Oh, uck, I hadn't thought of that! D: I really don't want to do a trip like that. The Hop-on Hop-off bus sounds pretty good, though! So it's a tour bus that just goes along certain routes and you can choose where to get on/off?

Date: 2010-03-20 07:32 pm (UTC)I looked up the website for Macbackpackers (hee!) but from a casual glance it looks like they don't have a hop-on-hop-off option anymore. *sadface* It was awesome because you had a certain number of days to complete the circuit so you just had to book a seat on their regularly scheduled tours (which passed through pretty much every day) and ride along with them till the next stop. Also, they had 18-person (or so) buses, so the group was always kept relatively small. They do seem to have a list (http://macbackpackers.com/links/tours) of other bus tours on their website that might be helpful?
