Life: I don't have one
Feb. 8th, 2009 12:52 amI have a midterm on Monday, an assignment due on Tuesday, and a paper due on Wednesday. Of course I decided it would be a great idea to start watching new TV shows. *facepalms*
Supernatural. I can see the appeal of this whole Sam/Dean thing (very easy on the eyes, the both of them), but the horror aspect of the show is making me hesitate (I find that I spend at least 15% of each episode with my hands over my eyes XD;;). I like the premise of it (angels and demons and whatnot), but freaky things freak me out! Same reason why I couldn't get into the whole Buffy craze ten years ago. *is massive chicken* Also! What's with this whole people-burning-on-ceilings thing??
Heroes. I caught a random episode on TV today (a rerun of last Monday's episode, according to Wikipedia) -- it looks like a pretty fun series! Maybe I'll marathon it during Reading Week. *anticipates*
Gossip Girl. Also caught a random episode today. I've always found this show rather trashy and uninteresting, but I somehow watched a full hour of it. IDK. Something about watching ridiculously attractive people doing ridiculous things... *waves hand*
(I was skipping to NCIS during the commercial breaks -- heard lots of good things about this show, but I couldn't get into it).
Stargate Atlantis. Still haven't watched the last episode. I'm thinking of re-watching the entire series (or maybe just the good episodes) just for kicks.
Battlestar Galactica. I actually didn't watch any of this today, but I kind of want to get into it since I've heard nothing but praise for this show -- and I've been on a bit of a sci-fi kick lately. The first episode was remarkably unspectacular, but I find that it's easier to get pulled into a show by starting off with a good episode in the middle. Any suggestions where to start, BSG-fans? :D
Other noteworthy things:
1) Frozen grapes are the bestest things ever. THEY'RE LIKE YUMMY FROZEN CANDY. I CAN'T GET OVER IT.
2) Regina Spektor's On the Radio has been stuck in my head all freakin' week. (The reason for it is kind of ridiculous, so I won't get into it ;;;;)
