If my fic choices were limited, then yeah, my threshold for technical quality decreases dramatically. XD I'm picky when I can afford to be picky!
I get really annoyed when people leave off the end period in dialogue, e.g. "Blah blah," He said /next paragraph
I can't say I've ever come across that issue before! :O Do you see that frequently in fic?
LOL! (I totally wasn't aware re: "going to hospital" without the "the"! Is this the way for every, idk, location? Like, ummmm, "I'm going to supermarket"? Or is it for hospital in particular? I can imagine that "the" wouldn't be used in front of "school" in a statement like "I'm going to school") I've come across a couple of Britishisms (either terminology or phrasing) in some SPN fic, but unless it's very obvious, I usually gloss over it.
