Mm, yes, I agree. I feel that the automatic equating of marriage --or engagement, even, in this case-- to procreation somewhat undermines the "marriage is only about love (not gender, procreation, etc)" idea that I'm sure most of these same people support.
I'm curious to see where they take Glee. They're blunt about the stereotypes they're portraying, but they have yet to transcend the stereotypes, to show us that these characters are much more than what they appear to be.
