fishpatrolFor some unknown reason, I'd been desperately craving for a J2 tennis!AU for a month before my trip, back in June. I'd wanted to read a tennis!AU so much that I'd even started writing one out myself. But the fic-granting gods smiled upon me, and as I was randomly clicking around one evening at my aunt's place in Shanghai, I came across this lovely gem. I think there may have been a happy squeak upon seeing the words "Wimbledon", "rivalry", "Jensen", and "Jared" in the summary.

lazy_daze's Topspin (since it's an AU, I think even the non-SPN Tenipuri fans on my flist may enjoy this :)). It's well-paced, full of tension, and scorching hot.
I miss drawing tennis!boys, so I did a bit of a sketch based on the fic:
Reference for poses: a couple of pictures of Ryoma I had lying around (on these Tenipuri tarot cards actually -- but, uh, I don't want to talk about that ;;;;).
Notes: I don't know where half of the tones in my Photoshop went, so pencil shading it was. :| I drew from memory and didn't reference the fic, so my apologies for any inaccuracies there may be.
