2. After spending the past two hours trawling through AHBL con posts, I really, really wish I could fly to BC for the con in August! I also kind of wish that I'd spent those two hours studying...

3. I don't know what pretty boys prancing around and fake!kissing has to do with saving the earth, but, hey, I'm all for it! Oh, Suju ♥

4. So, what's with the all the clamouring for Dreamwidth accounts lately? I suspect the main difference between Dreamwidth and the other LJ-copycats that people have attempted to migrate to (e.g. IJ, GJ) is not one of function, but rather: "all the cool kids have one!" That being said, I'm quite content to be on LJ, in the suburbs of fandom. I'll jump on the bandwagon with the last stragglers if fandom in its entirety migrates over.

4. Actually Dreamwidth is looking to function a lot differently than LJ. I'm not sure if it was designed to be more fandom-friendly, but they've stated that that's their intention and they've stripped down a lot of LJ's code that they think is useless/unnecessary. I dunno. I think a lot of fandom people are going over there because they feel that their content would be protected more there.

I am incredibly sure that a good portion of fandom won't move over to dreamwidth. I, for one, am happy enough with lj, goddammit :P It's too much trouble to move, too...

How many exams do you have this semester? I only have two, but the upcoming one is going to be terrible -- it's an elective and credit/no credit, but if I don't pass, then I can't graduate in June. ;____;

It looks like most people with DW accounts are posting in both -- I'm guessing there won't be a mass migration unless LJ pulls another strikethrough. And it could be just me, but it seems that a Dreamwidth account is highly coveted within some fandoms while others are completely unaware of its existence.

I believe the most popular ships are Sam/Jack and Jack/Daniel, but I have a feeling you're not going to be jumping on those ships. ;)

Yeah, I definitely see why Sam/Jack is popular and I can see where people get Jack/Daniel, but I just don't feel it. :P I almost got excited with Lantash/Jolinar...until I learned it was a TRAP :P If I were going to ship anyone though, it'd be them, lol, at this moment. :P (also, I just realized that this may mean nothing to you XPD;)

Haha, I agree with Katie's statement! I get the same with watching TV shows sometimes, but it usually only lasts a season or two before I lose momentum.

And hahah XD;;;; Lantash and Jolinar are two Tok'ra (idk if you know who they are XP), but basically the show made me think they were gay lovers...and then I found out one of them was "female" (although I had my suspicions >:E). I still like them, though XP
