I figure the best way to get used to using the tablet (Neal :D) to draw is to trace a couple of sketches first. I pulled out two really old (and really messy) sketches and did a clean outline with the tablet.
Learning how to colour is going to be a nightmare. \o\
Aren't tablets freaking awesome?! While I love traditional art, it's kind of nice to use a tablet when you don't want to whip out all your supplies. And it's not messy!
I'm finding it fun to just mess around on the tablet while I watch TV or answer phone calls. ;D And the undo function ♥! *__* I'm still finding it kind of tricky to control at times -- but I suppose I'll get used to it after a while? I don't suppose you have any tips for a tablet!n00b. :>
