Stop trailing off... AND FINISH YOUR THOUGHT.
The problem with attempting to be social is that it doesn't leave a lot time for the important things in life: like reading every post on my flist in detail and reading fic and re-recording the podfic that Audacity had the audacity to mangle. Pretending to be a normal person is so very tiring!
In fandom news, the weddings have lost their novelty, but this particular picture tugs at my heartstrings just a teeny bit and I can sort of see where the tinhatters are coming from. ;) (Oh, tinhatters. Just remember: the Jared and Jensen that you proclaim to love? Are probably nothing at all like their real-life counterparts. Also, somewhat unrelated, I am still squicked by the "Omg, they need to pop out a billion pretty babies, like, nao" comments. Marriage ≠ baby-producing -- and hey, maybe D&G want to advance their careers before getting chained down, hmm?)

I am using the term "tinhatters" to encompass all fans who hold extreme views on J&J's lives (i.e. views that require a lot of interpretation of the available information). I'm sure "hets" have certain extreme views as well, but since they seem to be less vocal in the circles (outside of my flist) that I travel in, I haven't really considered them.
Don't be so naive or conceited as to think that you know what they're really like any more than the hats do.
I'm not sure why you think that I know more about J&J than the "hats". I don't, and I am 100% certain that the image that I have of J&J is no where near the reality. I don't believe everything that the actors present to the fans nor do I believe most of the fan-theories that have been floating about. I am inclined to take the Occam's Razor route: it is more likely that J&J have married D&G out of love (or strong liking at the very least) rather than due to an elaborate conspiracy involving pressure from the network and, idk, their need to hide their love from the world.
