The neighbours were having a noisy party (idek which neighbours -- left? right? upstairs? bah, apartments), so I popped my earbuds in and sketched. Yes, I listened to Kpop (and some English pop and some podfic) and sketched on a Friday night. What can I say -- I lead an exciting life.

Characters from two fandoms that I'm not even in:

I watch Elementary solely for Joan's various knitwear (and cute coats and blazers) and her shiny, shiny hair.

I'm getting a real kick out of this red felt pen I found. It's so smooth and glide-y and idek. (the lineart does not look red because I stuck the sketch in Photoshop -- I didn't want Allison to look as if she had bright red hair \o\ Also, it had to go through Photoshop because it is actually a crummy cellphone photo and needed level/contrast adjustments /o\)

I started watching New Girl, and idk, I'm not sure if I like it that much? But it's 21 minutes, which is perfect for my meandering attention span. Also, Schmidt is amusing and Cece is fab, so.

These are both goooorge, jsyk. And I'm so happy you're drawing! This is something I aspire to. Even if it occurs on Friday nights. Like, especially, trufax.

Since SPN has moved to Weds, I've discovered that Fridays are wonderful for catching up on fannish life things. For instance, I've (re)watched 801 and one ep of The Good Wife while dinking through and cropping 801 (and now 802) screencaps, in the hopes of perhaps iconning. (I like to make up words, leave me alone. especially on Fridays. especially on Fridays that I resign from my shitass job, okay.) Anyway, fannish things, they are wonderful.

Also: I WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE BEFORE I LEAVE TOOOO. Going to respond to email. Not right now though, too lazy. This weekend though. ;)

Those are very nice. :)

I stopped watching New Girl after the second episode, but that's mostly because Zooey Deschanel annoys me. Also because I don't handle second-hand embarrassment very well. :/

What other sitcoms do you watch?

TBBT is my favorite. I'm also watching How I Met Your Mother, but these later seasons haven't been consistently funny as the earlier ones. I used to watch Malcolm in the Middle, but not religiously. Another old favorite (I can recite almost any line from any episode!) is Friends. The new one, Partners, have been interesting. Mostly, when I'm jonesing for a 20-minute thing I just watch some Family Guy. :D

Partners is about childhood best friends opening an architecture firm together. David Krumholtz plays the straight guy, engaged to Sophia Bush, Michael Urie plays the gay guy, and they have Brandon Routh as the painfully adorable boyfriend. It's pretty funny. :)

It's not "smart" funny like TBBT or Friends was, but I might be biased, so. Still, the characters are pretty great.

Oh, Joan! She is so gorgeous! And I love her knitwear. ;)
