So if I were to have a bottle of contact lens solution and my contact lens in their case, immersed in more solution, in my carry-on bag, would the airport security confiscate them because of the no-liquids-on-plane rule? D:

Here in the US, we have to take them out of our carry on luggage, and put them in a clear baggie (often provided by the airport). They go through security sensors on their own. I don't think they'll get confiscated, unless Canada has much different rules.

Depending on how big the bottle is, you may not be able to bring it on the plane at all. For travel in the US you have to put any and all liquids under so many ounces in a clear plastic quart zippy and put that separately through the x-ray when going through security.

I just play it safe and put my contacts and contact solution in the clear bag when I fly.

as long as its 3oz or less and in the plastic ziploc, you're good to go. :)

Yeah, like other people said.

Anything liquid (including toothpaste and other sorts of gels - literally anything that could be considered liquid-y) must be in 3oz or less bottles and in a QUART-sized plastic bag. Sizes are important! Here (http://www.tsa.gov/311/) is the official gov't website that gives you more detail, but what I told you is basically it.

Traveling is so hard. :(

.... Ahhh, yeah. AREN'T YOU LUCKY THAT I CAUGHT THIS POST.

But yeah. Anything liquid/gel bigger than 3oz is a big no-no. :(((( And um. A 1-quart bag isn't huge either. :\\\\ Some stores (like Target - does canada even have targets? But like. Drugstores too I guess), because of the new regulation, sell 3oz bottles for convenience.

BABY LOTION. :P

Umm. It's small. :| Like, a little bigger than those fold-y sandwich bags. I don't think you'd be able to fit more than 5 3oz bottles. :|||| Like, that'd be super hard.

sldkfj also, my airport supplies bags, but I can't say that all airports do.
