I find some epithets okay...like 'his brother' ;p But most make me :|||...however, since I tend to ship rarepairs, I generally take what I can get. >_>
I get really annoyed when people leave off the end period in dialogue, e.g. "Blah blah," He said /next paragraph. WHY. I see so much of it and idgi.
I care less about most punctuation than I used to, though. And grammar as well, partly because I'm a huge variationist/regionalist. :P
Oh, one thing I absolutely detest - PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET BRITPICKERS. It's so annoying when I'm reading, say, Sherlock fic, and suddenly I'm like GET A FUCKING BRITPICKER. >:E (The other day I was reading a fic that was fine...until Mycroft said, "Do you need to go to the hospital?" and I was like it's GO TO HOSPITAL, NO FUCKING THE. Ugh IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO GET BRITPICKERS.) lol you can tell how passionately I feel about this - it's probably more jarring because I'm living here and also quite careful about Anglicizing my own English, so I notice stuff like this more.
