I looked up the website for Macbackpackers (hee!) but from a casual glance it looks like they don't have a hop-on-hop-off option anymore. *sadface* It was awesome because you had a certain number of days to complete the circuit so you just had to book a seat on their regularly scheduled tours (which passed through pretty much every day) and ride along with them till the next stop. Also, they had 18-person (or so) buses, so the group was always kept relatively small. They do seem to have a list (http://macbackpackers.com/links/tours) of other bus tours on their website that might be helpful?
