My friends aren't really familiar with my research (damn them cog/developmental/neuropsych kids), unfortunately. I called my dad and flailed at him and he was just like, "dude, it's easy to write your own" and I was like, "no, no, it's really not" and he's like, "use this opportunity to highlight your contributions and etc." I took notes as he told me how to structure the letters and personal statements and whatnot, haha. I now have a page of incoherent notes to sift through. This grad school stuff is so alsjf;ldasjf;*slams keyboard* You're so lucky this stuff is way behind you now. ;)
