There really isn't anyone else qualified to write my letters, unfortunately. I just got off the phone with my dad, asking him about this, and he gave me a long-winded response on how to draft letters and how to write my personal statement. XD His bottom line: writing the letters myself is a good way to highlight my unique contributions or something or other. Sigh, this grad school stuff is such a hassle!
