1. I suspect Stephenie Meyer's first book would have garnered less attention if it was titled Gloaming.

2. I, along with S and B (it was S's suggestion -- I knew introducing The Big Bang Theory to her was a good idea), spent the morning playing with non-Newtonian fluid (cornstarch+water = endless fun) and bitching about grad school. We have decided that our lives are depressing and that we have no future.

lilie_charlotte later today, yay! She will assure me that grad school is not all doom and gloom.

4. I have not felt the Halloween cheer for at least five years now. :( I miss my childhood days of trick-or-treating.

5. To get back into my LJ-ing groove, I'm thinking of doing NaBloPoMo -- I'll likely alternate posts between this journal and the other one. *ponders*
