Vegas, best thing since The Shrine

Or: the interrogation, the best scene since the pier.

"Space aliens?" Sheppard asked, his mouth tilting up in a smirk.

Rodney stared at him, hard, wanting nothing more than to wipe that condescending look off of Sheppard's face. He stood suddenly, his legs knocking the chair back with a metallic scrape. He grabbed the lapels of Sheppard's jacket and pressed his lips against Sheppard's, feeling the smirk shift into surprise.

Detective Sheppard tasted like spearmint and smoke and
John. Rodney licked into Sheppard's mouth and Sheppard opened wider, hot and wet and desperate.

Rodney knew that he could trust this Sheppard to do the right thing, because John Sheppard, in any universe, could never resist playing the hero.

...And then Rodney furtively slipped a transmitter-locater-thingamajig into Sheppard's pocket in case Sheppard needed to be beamed up in an emergency -- such as being shot at by a space alien. :|
